Northwest Golf Course

The facilities at Northwest Golf Course (formerly known as Northwest Park) include a full-length par 72 layout and a short course known as the "inside 9".

Montgomery County Public Parkland Golf Course

The main course at Northwest is a full-length par 72 layout and can be played from a modest 5,006 yards to a monstrous 7,376 yards. The "Inside 9" is a par 34 layout that goes from 1,085 to 2,774 yards. The 41-bay driving range is open daily for those who aren't quite ready to tackle the courses here.

Northwest Golf Course is one of nine golf facilities owned and operated by Montgomery County.

27 Hole Golf Facility in Central Montgomery County

The entrance to Northwest Golf Course is only a mile north of the Layhill Road exit off MD Route 200 (the Intercounty Connector). The location in central Montgomery County puts it within reasonable driving distance of both the east and west sides of the Maryland suburbs of DC. The Northwest Branch Regional Park is on Norbeck Road on the north side of the golf course, with a baseball field and several soccer fields.
