Hawthorne Country Club is a private member-owned club on the west side of town in La Plata, Maryland. The 9-hole par 36 golf course (designed by regional icon Ed Ault) plays to approximately 3,000 yards from the back tees. The course is set up with two flags on each hole for an 18-hole round. In addition to the golf course, Hawthorne CC offers an indoor golf simulator, a restaurant, swimming pool, tennis and pickleball.
