Delcastle Golf Course celebrated its 50th birthday in 2021. It's a par 72 course designed by regional favorite architect Ed Ault.

Ed Ault designed quite a few memorable courses in the mid-Atlantic region, including Delcastle Golf Club which opened in 1971. While it offers a reasonable challenge for all golfers, it's not the longest in the area at a max of 6,627 yards. Three other tee boxes (and one combo) measure between 5,209 and 6,326 yards.

The monthly "Castle Card" programs offer decent discounts for those who choose to play here regularly. The Pub is available for food and drink after your round.

Delcastle Golf Club is between Newport Gap Pike and Limestone Road on the west side of the Wilmington metropolitan area. While it's in a dense suburban neighborhood there are few spots where homes overlook the course. It's a seven mile drive from here to downtown Wilmington.
