Greystone Golf Course is in the far northern portion of Baltimore County, less than 10 miles from the Mason-Dixon Line (the Maryland-Pennsylvania border).

Joe Lee Designed Course in Northern Baltimore County

Probably best known as the designer of the "Blue Monster" course at Doral, Joe Lee also provided his golf course architecture expertise for the design of Greystone Golf Course in northern Baltimore County. It gets hilly in this part of the county and Lee took full advantage of the terrain, creating a course that includes 140 feet of elevation change. The par 72 layout can be played from five sets of tees (and two combos) for total distances ranging from 4,800 to 6,925 yards.

Greystone is one of the five courses owned and operated by Baltimore County Golf. Memberships and discount cards are available for Greystone alone or the full collection of Baltimore County courses.

Public Course near I-83, 30 miles north of Baltimore

There ain't a whole lot up here in this part of Baltimore County, which is actually part of Greystone's attraction. Surrounded mostly by farmland, the course is along way both in distance and feel from the congestion of the city. At the same time, it's not far from interstate highway I-83. The closest I-83 exit is at the junction with York Road, about four miles northwest of the golf course.
