Well, almost on the river. Algonkian Golf Course is about 1,000 feet from the river, separated from the water by a county-operated park and boat ramp. The course is a little over two miles north of the Cascades Parkway exit off Route 7 (Leesburg Pike). Dulles Town Center and the Loudon Tech Center are just south of that exit.
