Member-Owned Private Club in Montgomery County

Argyle Country Club has been around since 1923 (at three different locations) and offers several level of memberships to meet different needs. The 18 hole course was added to the club's amenities when it moved to its current location in 1945. The course plays between 5,736 and 6,500 yards. Argyle is rightfully proud of its junior golf program that has been the breeding ground for successful golfers at the amateur and professional levels.

Beyond the golf program Argyle also offers facilities for both tennis and pickleball. The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The club's fitness center is equipped with all the tools you need to keep in shape year-round. Dining is available in the Argyle Dining Room and the 1945 Grille.

In Central-ish Montgomery County

Argyle Country Club is probably not far from the population center of Montgomery County. It's near the mid-point of the "Inter-County Connector" (MD Route 200) that connects Laurel in the east with Rockville and Gaithersburg in the west. There's plenty of golfing going on in this neighborhood. The courses at Argyle and Leisure World are less than 1/2 mile apart at their closest. Northwest Golf Course and Manor Country Club are less than two miles from here ("as the crow flies").
