Located about five miles northwest of downtown Wilmington, Wilmington Country Club has two 18-hole golf courses, tennis, squash and swimming.

Wilmington Country Club has two 18-hole courses: the North Course was designed by Dick Wilson and the South Course is the creation of architect Robert Trent Jones. Later course updates were supervised by Andrew Green.
Host Course for the USGA and the PGA Tour
Wilmington Country Club has existed under that name since 1901, but its origins go back to the late 19th century as the Delaware Cricket Club and Delaware Field Club. The club's current home opened in 1962.
The club has been the site of six USGA national championships: 1913 U.S. Women's Amateur, 1965 U.S. Junior Amateur, 1971 U.S. Amateur, 1978 U.S. Junior Amateur, 1978 U.S. Girls Junior Amateur and 2003 U.S. Mid-Amateur. The PGA Tour selected the club to host the 2022 BMW Championship, part of the tour's playoffs.
