Palmer and Nicklaus Golf Courses

Bay Creek Golf originally featured 18 hole courses by both Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The Nicklaus course has been reduced to an excellent 9-hole layout. The Palmer Signature course is still a big 18 hole 7,250 yard adventure. For lesser mortals the Palmer course has six additional tees playing at more reasonable distances. The half-size Nicklaus course also has seven sets of tees playable from 1,507 to 3,645 yards.

Bay Creek Amenities

In addition to the 27 holes of golf, Bay Creek offers members a pretty full complement of club amenities. For golfers, there's a full-service pro shop and a Trackman golf simulator to help you keep your game in shape year-round. There's a beach on the west side of the community for fun in the sun and spectacular sunsets. The "Life Center" features two outdoor pools with a splash zone and slide for the kids, the latest fitness equipment, and fitness classes. The clubhouse restaurant is called the Coach House Tavern. If that's not enough there's 350 acres of nature preserve to explore.

Golf at the Southern Tip

The Bay Creek residential community is on a small peninsula between the Chesapeake Bay and Longs Pond - lots of opportunities for water-related activities. It's all located near the southern end of the Delmarva peninsula, about a 4-hour drive from both DC and Baltimore. Virginia Beach and Norfolk are about 45 miles south of here, across the pretty amazing Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
