Chesapeake Hills Golf Course is near the southern end of Calvert County and is operated by the county's Department of Parks and Recreation.

Calvert County Public Golf Course

Chesapeake Hills Golf Course offers 18 holes of golf (and "FootGolf"). The par 72 layout plays to a maximum of 6,545 yards. Formerly a private club, the course is now owned and operated by Calvert County. A new clubhouse with pro shop, bar and grille, banquet facility and conference room was added in 2024. Annual memberships and cart fees are available. "FootGolfers" are welcome in the early afternoons and evenings.

Chesapeake Hills Golf Course is way down near the southern end of the peninsula that separates the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay. It's just five miles north of the Johnson Bridge that crosses the Patuxent back to "the mainland". The Patuxent River Naval Air Station is a 20 minute drive south from here.
