Walden Country Club is in Crofton, Maryland, just off Crain Highway (MD Route 3), about 3.5 miles southwest of the highway's intersection with I-97. While area around the golf course on the east side of the highway is pretty densely populated with homes, the opposite side of Route 3 contains the big Waugh Chapel Towne Centre and Village at Waugh Chapel shopping centers.
