The Timbers at Troy Golf Course is a popular public course located in Elkridge, a short drive south of Baltimore near the intersection of I-95 and Route 100.

Public Golf Course in East Howard County

The course at Timbers at Troy sits upon 206 acres of what was formerly an estate called Troy Hill. The course plays to a not-outrageous 6,652 yards from the Black tees, with three other tee configurations playing up to 1,800 yards shorter than the maximum. The annual Players Club program gives discounts on green fees and merchandise plus a USGA handicap. Practice facilities include a driving range, chipping green and putting green.

Timbers at Troy is bounded on the east and south sides by two major highways, I-95 and MD Route 100. The closest highway exit is where Meadowridge Road intersects with Route 100, about 1.5 miles from the clubhouse. The golf course runs through the homes and condominiums of the Lyndwood neighborhood in West Elkridge.
