Ruggles Golf Course

Ruggles Golf Course is an 18 hole course operated by Aberdeen Proving Ground for military and civilian personnel as well as area residents.

While it's officially a "military" golf course, Ruggles is outside the gates of Aberdeen Proving Ground and is open for play by members of the public. Daily fees are discounted for active and retired military and DoD civilians. The course offers annual memberships to active and retired military personnel, DoD civilian workers and contractors, family members and Harford County residents.

Ruggles is a serious test of golf, with the Black tee configuration playing to a lengthy 7,230 yards. Four other tee boxes play between 5,071 and 6,790 yards. The facility also includes a driving range, a putting green and a short game practice area.

Military Course Open for Public Play on the South Side of Aberdeen

Ruggles Golf Course is located just outside the gate for Aberdeen Proving Ground, on the south side of the town of Aberdeen. It's about a mile off US Route 40 and five miles from I-95 exit 85. The Belcamp exit off I-95 is six miles west of the course.
