Wilmington Country Club has two 18-hole courses: the North Course was designed by Dick Wilson and the South Course is the creation of architect Robert Trent Jones. Wilmington CC has been the site of six USGA national championships: 1913 U.S. Women's Amateur, 1965 U.S. Junior Amateur, 1971 U.S. Amateur, 1978 U.S. Junior Amateur, 1978 U.S. Girls Junior Amateur and 2003 U.S. Mid-Amateur. The PGA Tour selected the club to host the 2022 BMW Championship, part of the tour's playoffs.
