Lake Presidential Golf Club, which opened in 2008, was the first new publicly-playable course to open in the region in a couple of years. The original layout was designed by Greg Norman, with significant alterations made to the final product. Five sets of tees give Lake Presidential a playing length of between 4,970 and 7230 yards. The course is located just off of Route 301 between Bowie and Upper Marlboro.
